We staged a Family Concert on Saturday 30th June, 2018.  This was a great success, more so than we imagined it could be. Being part of both the Festival of Chichester and the Bernstein in Chichester Festival, was a big help in bringing it to the attention of young families. There were about 70 children and their parents, plus some grandparents.  The children had a great time and we all learnt a lot about the instruments of the wind ensemble. Each instrument was introduced by one of the Camarillas and they played short snatches of music from Peter and the Wolf and Swan Lake while the children were asked to guess which animal the tune represented.  The Camarilla Ensemble kept the children’s rapt attention throughout with their playing and their games. At the end the children were busy drawing pictures and enjoying drinks and biscuits.  There was a competition for the best picture and the winners pictures are below
